Our Student Sports Club ESKA was founded in 2004 by parents and teachers who are interested in promoting the wider physical culture among their children and students. It organizes a series of year-round sports trainings and competitions.
The classes are held in athletics, table tennis, badminton and team games such as football, basketball, volleyball.
By participating in the classes students improve their overall physical fitness and coordination. They also can work on cooperation between players on the pitch and compete with students from other schools and cities. They learn how to win and loose. Twice a week our students have a possibility to take part in activities at the gym as well as at the pool acquiring the basic skills of swimming.
Our students take part in sports competitions being held in Tarnobrzeg and at the state and national level.
- in 2005 our students participated as a representation of Podkarpacie in the National Football Tournament for Special Olympics in Olsztyn where we took V
- in 2006 we took part in the Polish National Summer Special Olympics in Warsaw, where our students won two gold, silver and bronze medal in athletics.
- in 2007 we won the gold medal in the National Football Tournament for Special Olympics in Konin.
